This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (e.g. localStorage) are used by the SmartRent application operated by MR facility services, s.r.o., Zámocká 236/49, 019 01 Ilava, Slovakia, Company ID (IČO): 54679001, at smartrent.sk and smartrent-sigma.vercel.app.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Technologies such as localStorage work similarly by storing information directly on your device. We use them to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and — only with your consent — for anonymous traffic analytics.
2. Legal basis
We store technically necessary cookies on the basis of Section 109(8) of Slovak Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on electronic communications, which permits their storage without consent where they are necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested. Analytics cookies are stored exclusively on the basis of your prior opt-in consent under the same provision; the related processing of personal data relies on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

4. Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 cookies are loaded only after you give consent in the cookie banner. Without consent, no analytics cookies are stored. The data is pseudonymised and used for traffic statistics and improvement of the Application. The service is provided by Google Ireland Ltd.; transfers to the USA rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. For more information, see the Privacy Policy at /privacy.
5. How to manage your consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer. You can also delete or block cookies directly in your browser settings; however, blocking technical cookies may prevent sign-in and the proper functioning of the Application.
6. Supervision
Supervision of the storage of information in terminal equipment (cookies) is exercised by the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services. Supervision of personal data protection is exercised by the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, www.dataprotection.gov.sk.
